Enchanted River

After Tinuy-An Falls it time to go to Enchanted River which  is located at Hinatuan, Surigao.

The road going to Hinatuan was a very bumpy and muddy ride. It was muddy because some part of the area was raining.

Tinuy-an Falls Bislig Surigao

Our Surigao trip almost didn't push through because our hired driver backout. But because of my super mom, she was able to find an available driver, with the help of her friends in barangay, hehehe.. thank you, mom.

Back to my story, we left Davao at 1am and arrived in Surigao at quater to 7am. It was a scary and super dark travel. Scary and dark because some of the main road of Davao del Norte have no street lights, and the driver drives: fast and furious as well as some commuter's vans and buses. But GOD is good HE kept us safe. :)

Isla Reta Samal

Luzon and Visayas have their fair share of beautiful beaches here in the Philippines, Mindanao have plenty of beaches too. And if you are living in Davao City, we have our mini Boracay, an hour a way from the city, and the resort's name is: Isla Reta.

Isla Reta is also part of Garden City of Samal at Talicud Igacos.

Saranggani Capitol and Cliff Hanger

After a fun time at the beach, it's time to go home. But before that, we need to visit the beautiful white mansion-like Provincial Capitol of Saranggani.

One good thing when we visited this place is that, we were the only one here. Jump shot galore. :))

With my clinicmates

We also explored the top area of the Capitol.

Para lang na sa white house

Their garden with pine trees on it.

Wacky post

When your coming in and out of Glan, Saranggani Provincial Capitol is worth a visit for photo op.

Next stop before heading home is the cliff hanger. An overview establishment before or after Digos City.

The establishment has a restuarant and a toilet with a fee (10pesos, I think) if you really need to go.

A stopover is worth it.

Off to cliff hanger

Tam-Awan Village

Tam-Awan Village

This village is found up north of Baguio. It is like a museum of the tribe, Igorot. Their houses and custom can be seen here.

Lourdes Grotto

After having our lunch, we took a taxi going to the Lourdes Grotto to see the image of Lady of Lourdes.

The Lourdes Shrine is one of the catholic shrine in Baguio. It is located uphill, and to access to top of the grotto you need to climb the 252 steps, or drive the winding, narrow and steep road. Since we are in a taxi, we asked the driver to take us near the grotto.

Tree Top Adventure: Unsuccessful

Heights, my phobia and my joy killer. It was the reason why I didn't continue our tree drop adventure, poor me. :(

Mines View is one of the most visited place in Baguio aside from Burnham Park, because of the panoramic view of the place. Mines View can be describe in 1 word: breath-taking.

Burnham Park

Burnham Park is the biggest park of the city. There are a lot of activities that can be done here, such as, excercise: jogging, plane walking, yoga, boating at the man made lake and many more.

When I was here, I felt I was in a different country, aka United States of America. (Feeling lang naman, lol)

ME

I always been fascinated by water and its habitat, that is why I took BS Biology during my college years, but Nursing became one of the famous course during my year, So I was forced to shift to the said course. But it didn't stop me from witnessing and experiencing these creatures from the deep blue sea. Thank God, I don't need to go to Hong Kong just to be with these aquatic creatures. Here in the Philippine we have our own Manila Ocean Park. MOP is located behind Quirino Grand Stand, Luneta, accessible by Jeepneys, Taxis and Private Cars.
