ME

I always been fascinated by water and its habitat, that is why I took BS Biology during my college years, but Nursing became one of the famous course during my year, So I was forced to shift to the said course. But it didn't stop me from witnessing and experiencing these creatures from the deep blue sea. Thank God, I don't need to go to Hong Kong just to be with these aquatic creatures. Here in the Philippine we have our own Manila Ocean Park. MOP is located behind Quirino Grand Stand, Luneta, accessible by Jeepneys, Taxis and Private Cars.

I bought our ticket (Bong and mine) at www.metrodeal.com for only P750 /each instead of P2200. An Ultimate Adventure Experience Package. My sister and cousins wasn't able to avail this because the promo has already ended. Therefore they need to buy their ticket in the ticketing booth.

Redemption ticket booth for metrodeal and other agency is found at the Right side counter.

We arrived in the vicinity late in the afternoon. Since the activities have a set schedules, we are not able to experience some of the encounters. But the person in charge in the booth told us we can always come back within the week to avail the unused tickets.

Upon entering the place the first attraction you will see is the Birds of Prey. We weren't able to go inside because it was already closed.

Inside MOP there is a circular room where restaurants and souvenir shops are located.

Oceanarium:

Me and My cousins: Bryan and Kuya Bop and Sister Ava

Bong and I

The first you will see inside are the different species of aquatic animals such crocodiles, sting rays, turtles and of course fishes and many more. From the tiniest fishes to bigger ones, its all here in one roof. Vines are also present here to have a jungle like feeling.

At last the Oceanarium. The biggest aquarium in the Philippines. Different fishes can be seen inside this huge container.

After the Oceanarium, is the sharks and sting ray aquarium. The sting ray aquarium is at the celling near the sharks aquarium.  There is also a photobooth for aquanaut, but Bong and I wasn't able to take a picture there because I wasn't feeling well. Some kind of virus was attached to me and got a fever in an instance. Poor me. :(

After Oceanarium, we went upstairs to Trails to Antartica. Fish Spa can also be found in this floor and the view of the Manila Bay sunset.

Manila Bay

Inside the Trails to Antartica you will see penguins, you can also feed them and take pictures with a fee. You can also ride the Slide O' Fun and the Snow Village.

Before entering the snow village you need to wear a jacket provided by the person in charge. Ice is every where it was so cold inside. Now, my fever is really getting higher but I need to get inside to experience the snowy village.

Before going down for the Dancing Jelly Fish, I bought a souvenir, a Penguin hat to counteract my fever.

Then we went downstairs for the Jelly Fish Encounter. Different jellies can be seen here dancing and camouflage with the lights and mirrors to make the effect more interesting.

Then Bong and I left the vicinity because I am getting sicker. We ate our dinner in one of the stall inside MOP and waited for my cousins and sister. We also waited for the Musical Fountain Show.

Bong enjoyed the Fountain Show and I was busy sleeping (hehehe!). I got bored because I cannot help it but to compare it with Songs of the Sea in Singapore. Sorry.

Bong wasn't able to take pictures because he was so serious watching the show, hehe

After the program, Bong and I left MOP without my cousins and sister, because my temperature is increasing and I need to take a medicine and rest in our place.

I wasn't able to enjoy 100% the Manila Ocean Park had offered but for sure I will be back soon. Thank you Ocean Park.

For more inquiries please visit: www.manilaoceanpark.com I believe they add extra attraction for everyone to enjoy.

Love Lots,
