Baguio City

Me and Bong at Wright Park

A month after Panagbenga Festival, and during Araw ng Davao Festival, we are here in Baguio City, the City of Pines and the Summer Capital City of the Philippines. It was my first time to visit this place and I am so excited, hehe! :D

Since we are only on day tour and we need to visit different places, we have to be there as early as possible. Bong and I left Manila at around 12 midnight.

We rode a Victory Liners bus in Cubao Bus Terminal. When we arrived at the station, there were no  more available sits for Baguio but an ordinary bus. And I felt sad, disappointed and frustrated, because maybe we won't be able to pursue this trip. But GOD is so good. A couple in a Victory Liner Deluxe Bus got out and we were able to get their sit before the bus leaves. I was so HAPPY! Thank you, Lord. Your the Best!

The chair of the bus is so comfortable. And we were able to sit at the back of the driver, more space for our legs since Bong and I have long legs.

They also have a bus stawardess. And they also gave as snacks for free. The bus fare was: P 715/each

From all the blog that I read, I thought we would arrive 6-7 hours from Manila, but I was wrong. It only took 5 hours. I slept through out the travel and woke up at around 4 in the morning because my ears started to hurt due to pressure from high altitude, and we are approaching Baguio City.

At 5 in the morning we arrived Victory Liners Bus terminal in Baguio City.

When we got off the bus, I felt sooo COLD! I know I am in Baguio City now. We ate our breakfast in the bus terminal. I forgot the name of the stall, we ordered Mami with egg. Among all the food there, they have cheapest price to offer.

Outside of Bus terminal:

Our first stop was, the Baguio Cathedral or Our Lady of Atonement.

We need to go here to attend the 7 AM mass and thank God for the safe trip and for the available chairs that He was given to make this trip possible.

... next stop is Burnham Park
