Mines View

Mines View Signage upfront

Mines View is one of the most visited place in Baguio aside from Burnham Park, because of the panoramic view of the place. Mines View can be describe in 1 word: breath-taking.

Upon entering the vicinity, there are alot of picture taking with the animals for a minimal fee. And one of this, is with the St. Bernard dog. The photo op with the dog is 30pesos, good for 3 shots.
With friendly dog, Patrick

** I think the dog's name is Patrick (sorry for my memory gap, lol)

Then I also took a photo riding a horse, it also cost 30 pesos, good for 3 shots also.

Then, we proceed to the establishments: the View of the Mines.

I didn't actually saw the mines, but my friend told me it is there.

Souveniers at my left

The view deck

This photo was taken 2013, and the view deck as of this year 2014 was renovated and painted and not as steep as it used to be.

Bong and I

There is no entrance fee when you visit Mines View.

Strawberry Taho for 15pesos

We all know that strawberry is Baguio's great pride. If in Davao we have our durian, in Baguio they have strawberries. And Strawberry taho is one of their especialty. And I won't be leaving Baguio without tasting this. Strawberry taho helped me fight the chilly weather.

... Next stop Good Sheperd's ube jam and SM city Baguio
