Tinuy-an Falls Bislig Surigao

Our Surigao trip almost didn't push through because our hired driver backout. But because of my super mom, she was able to find an available driver, with the help of her friends in barangay, hehehe.. thank you, mom.

Back to my story, we left Davao at 1am and arrived in Surigao at quater to 7am. It was a scary and super dark travel. Scary and dark because some of the main road of Davao del Norte have no street lights, and the driver drives: fast and furious as well as some commuter's vans and buses. But GOD is good HE kept us safe. :)

Road to Bislig

At the side of the road, there are houses, crops and trees which was destroyed by typhoon Pablo and Super typhoon Yolanda. I didn't take pictures because the images are quite depressing. :(

Tinuy-an Falls is literally Tinuy-an (bisaya word). Its a bit far from the city, and the road is a bit rough. Road construction is still on going during our visit.

When we arrived at the place this little falls greeted us.

Our baby is excited to swim

We paid our entrance fees and rented a small cottage since we have to eat our breakfast for energy.

(I forgot to take the picture of the fees when we were there)

After breakfast, we are good to go for our Philippine Niagra Falls experience. BTW, when you get there before 9AM, you can see rainbow forming near the falls.

If you don't have a water proof camera, one of the staff have one, you can hire him as your personal photographer.

Then we went up the waterfalls. It was a slippery pathway to going up, it was a good thing the staff there was so nice. They became our guide going up.

There is a broken stairs going, it was destroyed during the storm Pablo.

It was raining, it more difficult for us to go up

Most challenging part is going down, hehehehe!

We survived the Tinuy-An Falls adventure. Now, its time to visit the Enchanted River and swim with the big fishes you encounter there.

Thank you, Tinuy - An Falls see you soon.
