Boracay Day 2

Bong and I woke up early to see what Boracay looks like in the morning. We also want to witness the rising of the sun of the place but it didn't happened because we woke up at around 7 in the morning. Instead we strolled the beach line of Station 2.

We hopped from one hotel to another and took some photo ops.

At around 9 am we returned to our hotel room and asked Marvin and Arcel to eat breakfast. A free breakfast in our hotel, the usual Filipino dish: "SILOG" with Juice or Coffee (3 in 1).

After breakfast, we prepared for our beach activities for the day.

(UL): Bong at Shoreline (MR): Boracay beach benches (MM): Bong, Me, Arcel and Marvin for our first activity

First activity of the day: Helmet Diving by Padi Boracay (P 350.00/each)
Before going to the diving spot, you need to register first at the place manifest, then pay for the activity.  A pump boat is going to pick you up and sail you to the diving area.

Helmet diving spot is about 15-20 below sea level, wearing an astronaut like helmet attached to a chemical gas use for breathing during the activity below. The helmet is about 1 kilo, but when you are below it is lighter than it original weight (amazing, isn't?). Before the dive, an orientation by a diver will be done to prevent anxiety for the beginners then they will transfer you to the other boat where you will go down using a stairs. When I went down, my ears hurts, just like riding a plane, where there is pressure in your ears. But I didn't panic. What I did was pinched my nose then blow with a close mouth, and the pressure went away. I have done this many time during the activity. Pictures was taken by our scuba diver/guide.

MIDDLE: Thrilling Fly Fish Activity
BELOW: Mama Mary in the Middle of the Sea at Willy's

Fly Fish (P 250/each).

Then we proceed to the registration area for the Fly Fish Activity. Again, you need to write your name in sheet manifest.

Fly Fish activity was a super fun activity in the sea. Your rubber boat will definitely fly when it hit a wave made by the speed boat where the rubber boat rope is attach. It is like riding a roller coaster at sea. Super Fun, Fun,Fun. But the Cons part is, it made my body ache, especially both of my upper extremities.

After the activity, Bong accompanied me at Jona's, the maker of most delicious and refreshing shake of all of Boracay. And the rumors was right, "masarap nga". I ordered my ever favorite Vanilla Shake worth P 110.00. The bunker used was a 250 ml mineral water container, the cap is pierce for the straw.

Then we went back to our hotel room to rest and prepare for our next activity the scary Para-sailing.

It was sunset activity, and we need to be on the registration booth by quarter to 5.

Para-sailing (P 800/each) depending if it was peak season, super peak season and low season. And it also depends how you talk to the person in-charge of the activity.

After the signing of waiver, a speed boat will bring you to a yacht that will guide the parachute during the activity/sail.

If your afraid of heights like I am, this activity will really test your bravery in conquering your fear. Unfortunately, I didn't conquer mine, I was crying for 15 minutes. Para-sailing  a parachute that is attached to a rope from a yacht below. You are sailing 50 feet above sea level.

And take note the activity is during sunset, so the wind is strong from above, so strong, that there are no tears falling from my eyes. And you can actually feel and hear it. SCARY!!

Para-sailing with Bong

After the activity, we had our early dinner, Bong and I called it a day, while Arcel and Marvin enjoyed the beach party since it was Easter Sunday.
