Boracay 3: Island Tour

R-L: Marvin, Arcel, Bong and I

Shangri-La Beach: Bong and I

Island hopping was the activity on our 3rd day. We woke up early, ate our breakfast and went to Padi Dive office for our island hopping confirmation. Before going to their office, we explored the sea line first. I love the white sand of Boracay and the blue sea. And because the place is over populated of tourists, algae were present in the shoreline, but the place still remains beautiful as it always been.

Boracay in the morning: Day3

When we arrived at Padi Office, kuya Mike approached us and asked  his assistant, who also served as our guide, to escort us to our personal pump boat for our island tour.

Our personal island tour cost: P1500 as a group.

Boracay Beach

First, we had our first ever snorkeling experience. I forgot the name of the diving spot.

(I want to go to Crystal Cove but we are riding a smaller pump boat and it couldn't pass the strong current.)

The second destination was Shangri-La.  On the way to most expensive resort of Boracay, we passed Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao’s resort.

Pacman's Resort

After 15 minutes we arrived at Shangri-La Resort.

We aren't able to explore the resort interior because it was forbidden. But we are able to enjoy the resort's beach.

The sand was so clean, no trace of algae. Water is very clear. I love the beach of Shangri-La Boracay.

Having Fun under the Sun at the Beautiful Clear Blue Sea

After 2 hours of swimming and enjoying the place, we have to return to our station.

I will miss you Shangri-La beach. I hope I will come back soon.

When we arrived at station 1, we paid kuya Mike, and thank him as well for the cheap island tour fee and for the friendly approach.

We ate our lunch in a small canteen (I forgot the name). They served “luto bahay” food, but they are quite expensive.

We returned to our hotel and rest. Bong and I planned to go out late afternoon to witness the famous sunset.

The Boracay sunset will be posted on my next blog.
