Seagull Mountain Resort with LOVE

Yabz and I have been planning this trip since February but things got out of hand, We just have to postponed the trip. On August 26, 2012 yabz Bong and I decided to go on this trip in a cowboy way, in other words travel and spend lite.. :)

Yabz and I started the day by eating breakfast at Jollibee Bolton and bought Yang Chow Rice as baon at Chowking since we don't have time to cook rice. We hired a taxi to catch the 8am bus ride. Upon arrival, there were 2-Rural Transit Buses to choose from: an ordinary bus (with no air-conditioning and more bus stop) worthed P100 to Buda Seagull and a special bus (with air-conditioning and limited bus stop) worthed P 260. I want to take the air-conditioned bus but Bong told me, if we wait for the special bus to be filled by passengers it would take hours, while the ordinary bus was quite full; so we decided to take the ordinary one.

It was 2-hours bus drive to Seagull, and it wasn't a fun ride for me. I got dizzy because the bus keep on pulling over to picked up passengers on the street, and the air made my ears ring. If you want to go to Seagull please ride the Special Bus its quite expensive however its more comfortable.

Phoenix gas station is right beside the resort

WHAT'S INSIDE

When we arrived at the resort, I immediately proceed to the information center for the room reservation. The front desk attendant told me that the check-in time for overnight is 2pm, and I told her that we are on day tour and the room is use for resting and to secure our things. Our cottage was in the camp site area, its like a tent-like-cottage, good for 3-persons, it is worth 750 and bed sheet worth 75/each, and I requested 2 sheets.

And we are the only guest on this area. We have the whole campsite for ourselves. :)

OUR CAMPSITE

We paused for a while, secured our things and decided which items and foods to bring. Then Yabz and I explored the area, and it was definitely breath taking.

The Lady of Manaog Chapel.

We ate lunch near the view deck. WOW!! It was so delicious to eat simple foods with a beautiful view together with your love one, It is so romantic.

Thank you Lord for the foods that we ate, for the beautiful nature that you created and for the safety of our travel so we can witness, appreciate and feel your creation. Amen. <3

The walking part begins.

The biggest cross of the resort

PINE TREES

We also planned to go swimming in the resort's pool, but time was running out and we need to leave the resort by 4pm or before the sun sets.

After seeing the pool, we also went to the resort's waterfall. You have to ride the resort's shuttle van to take or pick you up at the waterfall area.

They also have a pool in the waterfall area but the water was unclean. I suggest if you want to take a deep, do it on the sight where the source of the water comes from.

The fall .. <3

After visiting the waterfall, we came back to our camping area and rest. It was a hot and sunny day and I need to take a shower, and just what I expected, the water was freezing. At around 4 pm we waited for a Rural Transit Bus to pick us up. And we waited an hour for the bus to come by. It was so tiring but it was fun.

We left the resort at 5 pm and arrived at Davao City Proper around 6:30 pm. Yabz and I had a massage at Body Bliss Spa because my whole body was aching and I am experiencing one of my migraine attack. Then ate our dinner at Pastilan sa Jacinto. At 8 pm, Bong escorted me in our house and bid goodbye.

Our travel was fun and very adventurous. Seagull Mountain Resort is so beautiful, peaceful and breath taking. If you want to go there and have some questions please free to contact the resort by calling this number: 2864124 or check there website: seagullresorts.multiply.com

Love Lots,

BonChon <3
